Probably better game than Dunks, given the conditions.
    14 clearances too.

I'd love to throw the sink at Tom Green.

Tim was excellent and took 10 marks and won the rucks.
Lobb did also kick a couple of important early goals. He faded but still contributed giving English a chop out.

          Was thinking the same thing.

The Hurley money should still be lying around somewhere.

Watched the game at home tonight but had a nice meal at the Steam Packet Hotel in Williamstown beforehand.

Good win. Played well for 3 quarters.

We let ourselves down a bit early in the final term but steadied again to get the points Naughton quite important there.

Bont is unbelievable. Arty Jones is looking really good, JJ having a good year as well as English.

Great to be back in the top 8 again.

            Go Bulldogs!

Not buying it. If we beat Carlton next week I might start thinking we're building. Knocking over the bottom end of the comp the last 3 weeks proves very little and especially after doing our traditional meltdown tonight. I'm sick of seeing it.

Lobb kicked two goals, what more did you want?

Granted I was on the couch but didnt he play in the same conditions as JUH, who you gave an out to.

Freo made the finals last year. Still need to beat them on their home deck. GWS beat the Grand Finalists last week. Albeit they are beat up. Agree, not flying. But racking wins up and being two ahead of the ledger is OK.

I think with our opening rounds fixture most people would have taken 5-3 after 8 rounds.

We lost a prime mover and it hurt us, but we dug deep and recovered. I'd have preferred to take one or two more chances in the last and not give the last one up, but it's lineball.

We've had two really poor weeks, and six where we've either won or put ourselves in a position to win to be five and three after eight. It's more positive than negative in my view.

We have put ourselves in a great position considering the start to the season we had. 5-3 win loss and not far believe it or not from the top of the ladder with percentage being the difference.

No one is really all conquering at this momnet in time Pies and Demons are vulnerable.

I’m ok with our performance tonight. We were fairly clinical and took our chances in front of goal.

Macrae is building into form again, glad to see Lobb starting to spend more time in the ruck.

Shout out to English who has changed his game and doing a lot of grunt work in the defensive half of the ground.
