Few things annoy me more than losing to Carlton. We seem to have started slow against them in recent times.

I wept when Footscray solidly beat Carlton at Western Oval late '70s with Buckley trudging off spent and the faithful roaring joyously, the perennial underdog followers powerful and triumphant.
Nowadays it is great to confront their precocious coach led revival and I think we'll beat them because we are on the rise.

I left my run late to get a ticket for this match and I refuse to sit at the back of level 3, so looks like I will be watching this on TV

Doh! I purchased my tickets in the first hour they were released. It is getting harder to get away tickets at Marvel against the larger Melbourne clubs.

I just checked and AFL members reserve is booked out. Yesterday they had some in the last rows of level 3
