English didn?t play in that game.

We also defeated Collingwood in 2021. Martin rucked and was beaten by Grundy. But we won the clearances. Smith and Macrae both 35 disposals.

Don't think you need to send anymore shit after that post game presser by Bevo, enough shit was said there for the rest of the year.

What was he even talking about? I sat through it last night and he didn't make any sense at all. Incoherent rambling. I wonder when Bevo's Brief will hit members inboxes?

Going by the complete lack of social media posting by the club (literally nothing on FB/Instagram) I doubt we see a ''Bevos Brief'' this week.

What was he rambling about? His the man for the job and something about not being sophisticated enough to understand football? I don't even know, I'm surprised I listened to it all.

Easy answer is both moved out of the centre bounce rotations and play nominally in the forward line pushing up to midfield.
We've gone with a far more static centre bounce setup this season.

Yes. But why? When they got plenty of the ball in a lot of games last year. We won and won easy?

I assume something to do with Dunks and maybe a new voice in the coaching panel?

I don't know either.Treloar has taken Macrae's spot, I can only assume it's to get some wheels in there.

Unsurprisingly Smith played his best footy this year when Treloar was out.

But we lost a mid who spent a lot of time in the middle and we reduce our rotations of players who had some success in there? It makes no sense. Also, appears that we have either smashed their confidence or they are low in form and that's why they are not spending time there? Chicken and the egg?

The nature of the result was so bad that surely the club has to make a statement today and send some correspondence to the members. Someone outside of the football department has to show some leadership. At an absolute minimum. They just can't ignore that didn't happen.

55,000+ members want to hear something.

Agreed, probably why marketing shut up shop yesterday.

I went to the game yesterday expecting a comfortable 30 point win but we never really got going. Our last quarter was particularly difficult to watch. Stunned silence from most people sitting where I was.

There were people leaving when they took a 9 point lead. There was still 7 - 8 minutes to go maybe longer. Members have lost all hope, I've never seen anything like it.

I reckon Bevo was completely shell-shocked and totally bereft of answers on how to get better output from his players. Of course that ultimately falls on the coach, and we've all had concerns with Bevo and his funky selections/stubborn adherence to his game plan even when it is not working, but I actually felt sorry for him the last 2 weeks with the sub-par effort the players have dished up. He has shown, to a fault, unwavering loyalty to his players and they pay him back with 2 weeks of the most unacceptable effort imaginable.

Of course Bevo is partially responsible and accountable for the last 2 weeks, but the players own the lion's share of blame for mine.
