    Richmond 9th.....again

With the 8 settled, and Richmond playing Melbourne in the last round (so likely to retain 9th spot) does anyone else find this hilarious?

Made my weekend!!!!! - And if only they didn't tail off against us and got an extra two points.

They need to sack Wallet, clean out some more dead wood and start a fresh.

I couldn't have asked for a better result really
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Sportsbet should offer odds for a Rchmond 9th at the start of each season. There'd be plenty of takers year in, year out.

Just terrible that those 2 premiership points they flushed down the toilet against the Dogs earlier in the season will ultimately keep them out of the finals.

As soon as I saw this thread I wondered to myself, 'do we worry about Richmond too much?'.

                    Then I thought, NAH!!!!!!

                    Absolutely bloody hilarious.

Wallace is the greatest spin doctor. He was carrying on how they have 11 players with under 50 games. My question to him is.......what happened with blooding the youngsters in his first 3 years?

                        Re: Richmond 9th.....again

Funny story but I placed a bet with a mad keen Richmond work colleague early this year because he insisted that there was no way they would finish 9th in 2008. The bet was that he wasn't to buy his Richmond membership until he had purchased a Bulldogs one. I reminded him last week about the bet and he is just about resigned to the fact that he will be buying a Bulldogs membership in 2009. Outside of winning a premiership getting a work colleague to buy a Dog's membership is as good as it gets as far as I am concerned.

Richmond supporters are the biggest for going in and out of the woodwork, thay can do it all in one week!
1000 supporters 1 week when they lost the week before, 40,000 at next game when they won the week before.

Richmond arent definate 9th...theyll prob lose to melbourne for all we know..

Heard Nathan Brown on Triple M this week say something along the lines of "Hope the Western Bulldogs dont win the grand final this year"

Which resulted in plenty of harsh texts to Browny, and well deserved..

If i got a chance to text (was driving, bad idea) i would of sent 'Enjoy the rest of your career in the bottom 8"

Yes Browny mmm great footballer no doubt.
I remember the year he left, Collingwood were really chasing him, they had played in 2 grand finals in a row.
But he went to Richmond to play finals???
                              So transparent his reasoning.
