    Can't be a good sign. Usually player retiring or coach sacking are the reasons for an immediate press conference. I hope it is not the 2nd part.

        I can't see any way it would be the latter. Even if we had dire concerns with the coaching team (and a case could be made we should) I would expect we'd clear out some or all of the assistants before we'd look at sacking a senior coach that won the club's second ever flag a year and a half ago. The only scenario driving a change of coach would from Bevo wanting to retire. He's an unusual cat so it's not totally out of the realms of possibility, but highly unlikely.

        My first instinct is Picken is retiring.

            Yes i just thought of that. Didn't think it would be the 2nd part but was being a pessimist
