It is what it is, not disappointed as I put the cue in the rack on this season long ago, this just kind of reaffirms it. We are just nowhere near good enough, middle of the rung team. No better than last season, no worse.

Effort was there but our minds weren't. You can't give that much away to a team that's better than average, in terms of both shots at goal and poor usage up the field.

You'll get burned every time, and some of our players need to either get it together and capitalise on simple shots, or **** off and make some other team's supporters go insane.

Such a typically wasteful display.

At the end of the day in my mind, the 22 we put out on the park should beat the 22 they had out on the park. This was our best chance to beat the Cats in a long time, and we choked

So disappointing, the type of loss the drains energy, hope and belief from a season. We just aren’t good enough. We look our best when our best link together and move the ball. As soon as a weak link takes it….. turnover and goal. We didn’t lose because they played better than us, we lost because they made less mistakes than us

They just wait, kick it long to fwd contest where all our fwds converge. 1 geelong player stays back for the ball drop and he sweeps and clears. It happened all night .

And it's the same way we lost the game last week. Think that's a pattern of our style at the moment, rather than just how we match up with Geelong.

You could feel very early on at the ground that we were going to loose that one. Mids were cheating at the stoppage and defence lazy allowing them out the back and Caleb back in defence just gave the look of a 2022 performance.

Bont was poor tonight, how many missed tackles? Missed another goal in a crucial moment. Port becomes a must win now.
