Re: Lake's report
Lake should be fine and Sam Mitchell should be in alot of trouble.
he jumped at Bentick and swung the elbow at his face, missed him and just missed his team-mate, but with the afl, i really would not be suprised if Mitchell gets off because he missed and Lake gets a week or 2Comment

Re: Lake's report
Looking at the replay in slow motion, Lake jumps in the air, both feet off the ground, and his upper arm hits Stevens in the head, but just slightly and not enough to do any damage. At no stage does his elbow come up as its tucked against his body. To me its a hip and shoulder and not reportable.FFC: Established 1883

Re: Lake's report
There is nothing in the rules to say you are not permitted to leave the ground. If a 180cm player (say someone like Giansiracusa) was bumping a 197cm player (like Koschiske, perhaps), to meet him shoulder-to-shoulder he would have to leave the ground.Looking at the replay in slow motion, Lake jumps in the air, both feet off the ground, and his upper arm hits Stevens in the head, but just slightly and not enough to do any damage. The initial contact was with the forearm to Stevens' bicep. The rebound hits Stevens in the face. No chance this report will make it to Monday.Comment
