First time I've seen any of our new or newer guys. I'm all in on Sanders. A long term midfield combo of him B Smith and Bont is a wonderful prospect to dream of!

Good showing from a lot of fringe guys today.

To my eye it looked like we weren't overusing with backwards handball as we have been in the past. Especially at centre clearances

I thought he was very good in the first quarter but fell off a bit.

I think he's in for a really big year.. having Marra (or Lobb/Darcy) playing deep will allow Naughts to roam which is when he is at his most dangerous.

Yeah initially he did some nice work. I think all in all he's an upgrade on some of the players we let go at the end of last year.

We should delist McNeil every year.

I think so too Mantis, a role further upfield is I think the best fit for his skill sets, and our team from now. With JUH entering his 4th season now, and Lobb, English, Darcy and Weightman we have some forward weapons to finish. Naughton's one big deficiency is his goal-kicking. He strengths are his marking, mobility, dexterity below knees, and defensive pressure. As a roaming big man between the arcs he has the ability to connect all 3 lines.

Thank goodness we don't have a contract thread, it would be make it an administrative annoyance to manage.
