Rewarding our faith now after it was tested last season, a bruised heart salved.
I mean, yes and no. West Coast are pretty rubbish you've only got to cast your mind back a few weeks to remember what we looked like against a good team.
Tha being said, good teams put away bad teams so today we can't ask for more than what we're getting.

So you not salved yet but the West Coast defeat was as bad a blow to the heart as losing to Adelaide. Jesus wept.

How is this ground so slippery? It hasn’t rained in Melbourne for weeks. And there is a roof. Disgrace of a surface.
To be fair. It has been quite good in recent years. I think it has not recovered properly from the Pink concert. But seeing it is owned by the AFL. They probably should not be scheduling events like that so close to the start of the season.
