Re: Kylie?s Quarterly Report
The club is in a strong position and both Kylie and Ameet have certainly built on what they inherited from Peter Gordon.
When you consider we have a potential 7m lawsuit sitting over our heads and yet we are in a strong enough financial where it isn't jeopardizing the club in anyway is a testament to the job our leadership team is doing.
I would love to see Kylie working the media a bit more but that's a minor issue in the scheme of things.
Realistically it is hard not to be positive. We have the best constructed list I have seen, the best coach, seemingly good assistants with some fresh faces, good fitness and medical, good administration, our largest membership, good sponsors, a thorough review implemented, brilliant facilities, a great surface at W. O. to train on. We have even got some true supporters amongst that membership. Aside from the media rubbish and fractious fans (who seem not able to support the team we have) the club has never been in better shape.
The whining about losing a couple is sad. Fortunately you can get professional help for emotional breakdowns. No more waking in the middle of the night screaming 'sack the coach!' It is a journey from self-indulgent opinionatedness to being a real supporter of the team, but gotta start somewhere if we want to make things better.
Every year we, and every other team, lose to someone we think we should have been able to beat (Hawthorn.) Every year winning is a week to week proposition, to the point that 2016 seemed like a fairy tale at the time and a miracle afterwards.
There are enough good parts of games to see we can compete and continue to improve this year. We just need to get behind the effort to do that and be positive. It is a great time to be a Western Bulldogs supporter!Comment

I wish you'd done a video presentation of this...that way you could have added a few over the top winks to emphasise some of the more prescient points you have made. What should I tell her? She's going to ask.Comment

Re: Kylie?s Quarterly Report
Damned if you do. Damned if you don?t.
Obviously our President senses the frustration and hence determines that it is important to convey a message to members. If she doesn?t front up people criticise for being MIA. Yet conveying a message of hope is seen to be a negative. Not sure what else she is meant to do (apart from the extreme of sacking the coach)Time and Tide Waits For No ManComment
