Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 21 VS Melbourne
Let?s hope not. Daniel as sub for me.
I would love to match Garcia up on Very new for the night. See who comes out on top. I recon Garcia would drive him mad even without the ball anywhere near them.BB.
Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.Comment

Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 21 VS Melbourne
I think Garcia is promising and was pretty good in tight situations with his quick thinking and speed, however I think he can be undisciplined eg on Sunday after free awarded to Swans inside our F50 I think he almost cost team 50m penalty trying to be tough (probably should have been) inside our F50 on weekend. There was I think a tackle too where he took it a bit far and it was a free to GWS. I think he has a bit of white line fever and just needs to rein it in a notch. Having said this I hope he is not sub and Caleb or Macrae is. Poulter has been good and really hope he’s in starting line up too.Josie :)
Our day will come
And we'll have everything.
We'll share the joy
Just like '54 again.Comment

Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 21 VS Melbourne
It is painful to say it but in his brief sub appearance last week Caleb did not inspire. He slowed up play - has definitely lost confidence in his kicking - and then there was the inevitable backline mismatch or two. If he comes into the selected side I’m not sure of his spot, and to be sub again seems a bit weird and even unfair on him.www.bulldogtragician.com A blog about being a lifelong fan of the Dogs and our quixotic attempt to replicate 1954. I’d be really surprised if Poulter is the sub. He’s playing a very clearly defined role.- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment

Agreed, he's not a great choice as sub these days. Time has caught up with him. I'd like to see him at FF or HF rotating with the small fwds.It is painful to say it but in his brief sub appearance last week Caleb did not inspire. I know the line-up can often mean nothing but when I saw Vandermeer listed at centre it made me wonder if he might find his mojo there. McNeil plays well as sub and has a real impact, especially now as he seems to have settled his nerves a notch.Comment
