Really surprised we didn't finish the game off and at the least maintain a 30+ point lead. We've typically been good 4th quarter performers.
A few positives, one or two question marks though for the game.

What a cherry on top from English. He was very poor today.

Ask me before the game if I take a 17 point win and I would have. Especially after a bye.

Marra needs to concentrate more. Too many handling errors. Guys like Williams and Dale can't give up the footy by foot so easily. Libba needs to soak up the odd holding the ball rather than flinging it out.

Kudos to Rory Lobb for adjusting to a new role.

Anyway, a win is a win is a win.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Pretty uninspiring but a wins a win at this stage.

If we're going to win games in the next month we will need to be a lot better.

Move on, next week is big.

A lot of teams lose off the bye. I do wonder if that had an impact on us

What’s our thoughts on playing 4 talls , I think it went well Lobb was good out back and if Jamarra had taken his marks early it was game over.
Naughton had a run and Darcy after a couple of weeks worked hard.
That 2nd quarter had ten goals written all over it and Nth were extremely good at holding us.
Don’t get caught up in Nth being shite they are definitley turning into a good team.
Should have won by more but in the end we got the win which is what we needed to do.

I wonder how big the drums are beating on Lobb now and how he feels ?
I think he has proven he can play and I’m not sure he would want to leave if he continues the way he is going, good on him and Bevo for the way it’s working out.

Possibly. It didn't feel like we got it out of cruise control for most of the match. I also think we were guilty of just thinking it was done at 3 quarter time.

Well we played 5 talls and also Jones and O'Donnell. We didn't really play 4 up forward which was being speculated on.
It worked okay as a stop gap measure.

Did we appear more fatigued because we were too tall?

We looked a bit slow, not sure if it was fatigue or not.

North have been in great form not sure we are giving this performance the credit it deserves.
                          We didn't look like losing.

We won the game but at one stage led by 38 points. I worry about English. The game starts in the ruck. He just looked very retroactive today. He was led to the ball continually - disappointing to see that. He dropped marks he should have taken. He failed to go for marks in dangerous positions. Jamarra was way off too.

We won the game against a side that has been performing very well against strong opposition in the last couple of weeks. The season is on the line every week now. Let's got the job done.

Yeah north were certainly decent today.

But we had so many chances to put the game well out of reach. And instead we just looked sloppy, turned it over cheaply, dropped simple marks and then appeared to put the cue in the rack for the 4th quarter.

A win is a win. We just can't see this type of performance again if we hope to make finals. We would've been obliterated if we had played a top 8 side today.

In the 4th I sat up a little. I was starting to get a little concerned.
