Yeah VDM came off too. Which contrary to some opinion on here was actually a bad thing.

They did say something on the telecast but I missed the finer print. I was surprised they took Dureya off.

What?s our thoughts on playing 4 talls , I think it went well Lobb was good out back and if Jamarra had taken his marks early it was game over.
Naughton had a run and Darcy after a couple of weeks worked hard.
That 2nd quarter had ten goals written all over it and Nth were extremely good at holding us.
Don?t get caught up in Nth being shite they are definitley turning into a good team.
Should have won by more but in the end we got the win which is what we needed to do.

We weren?t really playing 4 talls not in the forward line we played 7 with Jod English and jones.
Lobb was ok at CHB but it’s only north.
Naughton needed the run.
JUH was poor but kicked goals
English was very beaten.
jones blanketed Larkey
darcy was poorly treated by the umps
jod ok

Also Xerri is the second best ruck in the comp right now. English is out of form but he shouldn’t be delisted because he was beaten by him.

Agree North showing a bit. With the amount of top 10 draft picks they have had they have to come good and it will happen very quickly.

Has anyone heard how James O'Donnell pulled up after the game? I didn't see any incident, but he came off part way through the last quarter.

Just got back from the Station Hotel in Footscray with the family for dinner.

Went to the game today. Just happy to have got the win. The first half wasn't that exciting in terms of the offensive game but we held up very well defensively restricting North.

The 3rd quarter was the deciding factor in the game as we kicked away kicked 5 goals to 3 to get a solid lead going into the last term.

The final term was a nervy one from our perspective as North got back but overall I thought we controlled the game and deserved the win and could have one by more had we kicked accurately.

Tougher tests to come in the next few weeks against Port, Carlton, Geelong and Sydney but we keep in touch with the 8 and the opportunity of finals footy.

He was just too casual today. He and English with the aerial ball were really weak and it cost us goals each way.

They'll be called out during the review, as will the really poor turnovers by foot when we should have been building a genuine margin.
