This is the result you get when everyone puts in and we don't turn the ball over in our back half.

I cannot remember a game against quality opponents where we were so superior in all aspects of the game except one - goal kicking.

We could have led by 30 points at the first break. Had we kicked better we could have won by 12 goals.

We had contributions from every player particularly down back.. We locked the ball in up forward by applying immense pressure at the stoppages.

We owed them big time and we gave it to them with interest.

One of the best wins I've been too, cold as **** but didn't feel it in the last quarter. Amazing.

I was so wrong about Buku and Lobb, you can see they love doing this together. Chemistry.

          Theyre amazing.

Footy is one of those games I believe that doesn't translate well to the TV especially without the behind the goals footage available (please broadcasters give us the option!).

So at the games you see the hard work off the ball and the positioning which means so much to a players value.

So glad you got to experience that chef! Wish I had gone and not been lazy.

I like to own my mistakes. I was very, very wrong about JUH.

Otherwise, couldn’t be happier with smashing the cats at kardinia park.

              Brilliant win!!!!

Just can't stand it that we continually lose to this mob, so to do what we did last night was just awesome on their home deck, plus who would have thought a night like that, wet, boggy conditions, the ground looking more like a pigs pen that our talls would not just play well but dominate, English, Lobb, Darcy, Naughton, Jamarra hats off, wonderful.

So the three headed monster might actually work afterall, Lobb now after 3 games down back looks like an inspired trade, to me he has always been a decent enough player without being great at GWS and Freo and with us too, will like to see how he gels with Jones when Liam get's back, but he just looks a natural defender and better than decent, ironically similar with Jonesy.

I also want to put my hand up and admit that I've been too harsh on Bramble, prior to getting his contract renewed I was baffled why he was untouchable because he gave up multiple easy goals to opponents a game prior but ever since he's been rebounding aggressively and putting his body on the line. The emergence of Freijah and Bramble's good form means that we can stick with Richards in the middle where he's smashing it.

I'm still not the biggest fan but he's hit a really nice purple patch.

edit: I'm pretty sure that Bramble was on Miers who killed us last time around so to shut out one of the best HFF's in the league is a massive win.

I'd nominate the GWS game earlier this year. That's where my mind kept going when we were mostly dominant but couldn't quite convert for 3 quarters.

I watched Scott's presser. For those who don't want to waste their time here's a brief summary:

"We lost because we kept kicking it to them."

He's usually full flog but he's raised his game to super flog now.

Well given that?s how we lose to them every single time, suck a fat one Scott.

Given how many intercepts we had, he’s not wrong.

                        Also agree he’s a flog.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I watched the Members Brief from Bevo. It's clear the win means a lot to him/the team as well as the supporters. I hope the comedown from it doesn't affect the Swans game but if the guys start to get a big head I'm sure the Swans will fix that up before we play Melbourne in a must win

The best thing about Lobb is that he really looks to be enjoying his football. He finding great positions, taking one grab marks, really being a general down there with Jones out. He is really taking it by the horns and giving it all. Kudos to him.
I will never see #16 the same!!

My point being he said zero about them being smashed at the contest, smashed at the territory game, held to zero goals for half the game and outscored 2:1. If we had kicked straight we would have won by twelve goals.

There was a reason for the intercepts: it was the pressure we applied to the ball carrier.

                                From the AFL site:
"Reborn defender Rory Lobb kept Jeremy Cameron to one goal and six touches and racked up 21 disposals, 14 intercept possessions and nine marks himself as he brilliantly led a hard-working Bulldogs defense."

Credit were credit due brilliant game by Lobb in a game that really shouldn't have suited a tall man. Full credit to the back half which had the measure of the Geelong forwards for most of the night.
