You know the most important stat is hitouts to advantage. We must be winning the percentage there? Of the 53 the crows ruck is trying to knock to us

I know stats aren't everything but conceding 40 hit outs against your direct opponent talks to a concerning lack of competitive hunger to want to win your position

Inside 50s 43-59. That is a domination. Felt like we were back to the old days of the Bevo era where we domainate entries and still can't win today.

We lost the hit outs 60-21

However, we won clearances 31-34.

However we lost centre clearances 14-11 and some of those were costly.

Maybe. But also Crows are playing better footy. They have got their players back in the last few weeks. They beat the Bombers at Marvel. They should have beat Geelong at Kardina Park last week.

We just had a game where everythign went wrong against an opposition that made us pay through lethal effeciency.

I am not surprised by this result- sadly. For a large part of my Bulldog supporting life we have often turned up and produced these non-performances in important games. Very frustrating as I thought that results over the last month promised something different.

Terrible kicking for goal. Smashed at the contest. Defenders under constant pressure as we put little pressure on the ball carrier. Horrible tackling, fumbling, decision making.

We need to bounce back big time next week

The best thing about this game was the time slot. At least my weekend was not totally destroyed!
