Re: Bulldogs V Kangaroos - Round 23, Sun 18/8/24 Marvel Stadium 1:10PM AEST

We had a lot of good players today. Khamis cost us a goal with a kick that went 10mts and was not called by the umpire and there was another incident when he was the second of our players NOT to get a hand on the ball and North goaled. But apart from that and the awful OOB kick, I thought he earnt his keep.

It's good to win a game when our superstars are not stand out dominant. We had a LOT of good players today.

Nah, Pies can still make it. They need Freo to lose and they have to win. They also need Carlton to lose both.

Great afternoon at the footy, North skills are woeful and our effort and attitude was incredible

I thought Daniel played a very solid game. Got a lot of the ball by hand and foot and never made a mistake.

Richards Started in the F50, then played mid, also found himself at HBF. Really used all over the ground today. He is an exceptional talent

As we have done in some previous games we have run some of our mids off half back before they flood forward. Today Treloar, Bontempelli, Richards, Weightman and Macrae were used in that capacity

The TV commentators picked up on it once today with Weightman - first time I'd seen the media notice it.

How did Freijah not play last week? I?d also take JOD over both Coffield and Buku moving forward, he also would have been handy last week.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Weightman was there twice and flooded forward aggressively both times.
Macrae I think was there three times and the goal and point he kicked in a quick period were because he pushed forward after starting at half back

If we can't rely on selection madness what do we have? Nothing.

Maybe he was cooked and needed a break? He's only 18.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

If he was cooked he wouldn’t have played VFL last week.
I would say more a match up thing but it didn’t work obviously.

Match up smatch up he's easily best 22 regardless. Coffield in front of Freijah has been madness.

The MC is on crack and we need to get used to it.
