It was around the 5 day break right? Given how he played today I think giving him an easier run at it for a couple week hasn't hurt him.

If he was cooked he wouldn?t have played VFL last week.
I would say more a match up thing but it didn?t work obviously.

Freijah was a traveling emergency last week and didn't play VFL. This week we didn't send Poulter to Sydney to play VFL
He might have just needed a week off the freshen him up and lets face it he ran the game out brilliantly. Young players are supposed to hit the wall late in the season.

Freijah was a traveling emergency last week and didn't play VFL. This week we didn't send Poulter to Sydney to play VFL
He might have just needed a week off the freshen him up and lets face it he ran the game out brilliantly. Young players are supposed to hit the wall late in the season.

Sorry you’re right he didnt play.
I don’t think fitness and running out games has been a problem at the club this year.
We seem to have got that right.

How did Freijah not play last week? I?d also take JOD over both Coffield and Buku moving forward, he also would have been handy last week.

I reckon the club has managed him beautifully, it's a long season we need to continue to develop Coffeild also and now Joel comes in fresh and puts in a serious performance.

Yep agree JOD ahead of both of them, I thought BUKU was a bit shaky again, considering the ease of the victory I would have liked him to fly for his marks more rather than spoil. He needs to intercept and kick it well to be considered an AFL player.

Bukus problem is he lets the ball get over the back ( a huge no no for AFL standard) also panics a lot when a player is near him.

Just got back. We broke even with them for 10 minutes then absolutely demolished them. I was actually quite worried going into this game, the haunting memories of the West Coast game from 2023 are still fresh in my mind.

Lobb was absolutely wonderful today. The guy was physically banged up, badly, didn't stop trying his arse off all day.

That was a good afternoon out at the footy at Marvel.

I went past Whitten Oval on my way back home for a celebratory drive.

Just a great performance all round today against North who are on the beach.

Sam Darcy is going to be a star. 7 goals is great. Joel Freijah is a first year player playing like he has played for a few years. Great game and great first year.

Liam Jones was doing the great stuff he does behind the ball. Also liked Caleb Daniel's game.

Cody Weightman earlier on competed really well as well as Jamarra.

Rory Lobb has done really well in the latter part of the season after the talk earlier on.

Now onto Ballarat where we face a tougher test against GWS. Get the win and secure our finals spot.

I thought Bont was grumpy for a lot of the night even Treloar had a few words to someone I can't recall who.
The players could have been feeling the pressure a bit on how big the win was needed.
