It really is hard to describe the feeling of sitting at that plastic stadium in Kerry Packer heartland watching us go from 19 points up to 74-points down in a little over a quarter.
It is even harder to describe how it felt to see thousands of Freo and West Coast fans celebrating Melbourne's win as if the club were there own - purchasing and waving flags, scarves and goodness knows what else...then seeing the Melbourne players carry on afterwards. The whole thing with the song, mocking their oppo (who had played finals in 4-states), just winning without grace whilst we sat and watched ('cos that's what you do after a GF - you show respect to the winners)...
Then watching us play "Let's kick it to Steven" alternating with "Let's kick it to Jake" in every game vs them since (apart from the Jamarra 5-goal coming out party that really ended up being a bit of a false dawn).
I bloody HATE this Melbourne team.
Get it done Dogs. Don't win by a bit. Win by a LOT. End their season.
