Isn't it Sam Power and the list management committee (you know that one with the same guys who enforced a future coaching change on Beveridge mid-season) that should force the issue with rucks if it's so obviously a blind spot for Beveridge?

I know it's crazy, but maybe they're all on the same page that rotating Lobb and Darcy through the position is better than getting a loafer who can't play the position at the top level.

I also would not be surprised if it was a 3 plus week injury Ryan Gardner would come in and play the Tim English role.

I am looking forward to:

- Learning who we pick up in the SSP who will go on to play every game for the year
- Learning who will be the player who starts the year in a new position
- A new jumper without the silly toilet lid collar and a much improved away guernsey
- Seeing Sanders' physical development over the preseason in particular

I have to admit, I am reading this through the same pair of goggles.

Much like the 'Sugar' Free Zone, I might need to create a 'Sour Cream' Zone where everyone who wants to read posts not pertaining to Tim English, his capacity to play in the ruck and alternatives we might have...

If "Sour Cream" is not a good option (the remedy to 'Chilli') then I am happy to accept nominations for the name.

I'm almost sure it's a consensus position from within the club but those who challenge don't have to agree with it.
What I'm not prepared to do is accept excuses from the club if Tim is out for a few weeks and lose momentum.

I haven't said I agree with it, but can see why they may have gone the way they have.

The same guys that went with Easton Wood as the mid sized forward and JJ the small forward. Yes. They like all of us and make mistakes, even if they all agreed to make them.

They also had the trade period too if they didn?t want a state leaguer or DFA. I think my concern is like GVGjr. It?s going to be an ends justify the means thing if we get through next year without dropping games or ladder positions if we have cover Tim by weaken other areas of the ground.

Absolutely they stuff things up. I guess what I'm saying is that if Baines, Power and Egan wanted another ruck on the list as a priority, another ruck would be on the list whether Beveridge liked it or not.

So right or wrong, we might be being led by a bunch of people who all agree that rucks are overrated if they can't get around the ground.

Starting the season well with wins after a pivotal preseason where all know the game plan and are fit and raring.

Looking forward to see how the trio of Naughty Jamarra and Darcy go with another pre season together, also the development of the young guys like Sanders Freijah and super keen to hopefully see Busslinger at afl level. And hopefully Bont having a dusty 2017 type season top it off.

Looking forward to see how the trio of Naughty Jamarra and Darcy go with another pre season together, also the development of the young guys like Sanders Freijah and super keen to hopefully see Busslinger at afl level. And hopefully Bont having a dusty 2017 type season top it off.
