Major Sponsor

Has anyone heard anything from within the club as to who may be likely to come on board? Or even when they are trying to get the sponsor on board by?

Given the issues with the economu now - it doesnt appear to be the best timing for any club to be looking for a major sponsor to pour some money into the club.

Maybe the Northern Territory could sponsor us, much in the same vein as Tassie did with the Hawks? Doubt it, but Im at a loss to know who else may come on board.

Any thoughts?

Nothing was announced last night by Smorgan at the B&F and didn't speak about the sponsorship issue at all.

Currently in discussions with a few major international financial institutions

That's not a good thing in my view as you tend to lose the logo ala Richmond & Dick Smith.

Clearly any international financial institution wouldn't be US based
