We were wearing our T-shirts to the game on Friday night and met Rocket - who said with a smile "Good to see your wearing the beard!!"

Wore the shirt to a game for the first time on Friday, so it clearly does have magical powers. Ordering a pint at the Nixon after the game, the bar-keep says 'that looks like Huddo' so I showed him the 'Appreciation Society' part of the shirt.

He then says 'you know what I've been calling him? The wooly bully'

Can't believe this thread has had no posts since last Wednesday, even in the (aborted) lead up to 'The Beard's' 100th game.

I guess mere round 22 clashes are beneath 'The Beard' & in all likelihood seem contemptuous a game to play a milestone game in.

Incidentally FDOTM, how are t-shirt sales progressing? Have we cracked the ton?

I saw the beard on Sunday close up. The manlyness of is just to great to even describe. I proclaimed long live the beard to a slight nod from the vessle for the beard in acknowldgement of my commitment to the BHBAS.

I'm thinking of doing a special edition t-shirt for the finals, but only if we win on Saturday. It would be the same shirt but a white image on a black shirt. Reversed!
