The t-shirt debuted for competitive battle on Friday night, and is currently travelling 1 for 1 so it will get another guernsey this week.

Alas, the next day it got caught on a nail and ripped but being as tough as old boots, the t-shirt was able to pull through. In fact the rip adds some hard-arse authenticy to the t-shirt.

I walked past a guy in a green Ben Hudson tshirt in depths of the Olympic stand on Friday night, he himself obviously inspired by the bearded one to grow his own face warmer. Was he a WOOFer?

Indeed, and my beard was first, though never as impressive as the great one that we all bow before...

I showed the shirt to some young believers sitting near me, Ernie and Sockeye and one of them was so inspired she's sure to have bought her top by now (or better yet, one of the regular and one of the limited edition, finals version).

My aqua-coloured finals shirt was waiting on the doorstep when I arrived home from work last night.

Fair to say, the suit and tie were quickly abandoned, with the People's Beard taking pride of place on my ample torso.
