An update - still in discussions with club re: BHBAD - and when I say discussions what I mean is that when I emailed them last week and said what is happening they said that they like the idea and are really busy but will get back to me at the end of the month. Or thereabouts.

Re: The Ben Hudson's Beard Appreciation Society.

passed through training yesterday and got a great pic of Huddo, The Beard and the new 'The People's Beard' scarf. Will post by week's end.

P.S. Huddo loved the scarves. His personal preference is the ones with tassels.

Would you have a copy of these in high-res, so we can read the text. Very interested. Thanks .

Did anyone else see the cartoon opening to the game on Channel 7 last night? There were various players from both teams depicted as cartoons. Ones I can remember were 'Iron Fist Hall', 'AKA Headlines Akermanis' 'The Flash Cooney' and my favourite 'The People's Beard Hudson'. Did they consult WOOF?

I paused it on the Foxtel IQ & took a photo on my phone. I don't know how to upload to the computer though. If anyone wants to PM me their mobile no. I can send it & then maybe it can be uploaded?

Gia on SEN after the game mentioned that Hudson is probably the best ruckman in the game apart from Sandilands.

Is there anyone that challenges this theory? Ottens is too injury-prone, and Jolley's been below his best so there has to be some merit in this argument.

Jamar at Melbourne has had a terrific year.

Hille was going well until his injury and Cox has probably had a better season. Kreuzer, Jamar & Mumford have also been good

Change it to best stoppage ruckman though, as opposed to best overall ruckman, and you might have a case
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

                              I'll concede Jamar.
Cox started very slowly, Kreuzer plays completely differently and would be the no 2 if paired with Minson. Mumford was teh firm no 2 at Sydney until Seaby went down from what I saw and I still rate Hudson higher.
Hudson is very underrated by the football public outside of the Kennell.

The way Hudson beat him earlier this year I wouldn't.
