I just tore up my membership (which is bloody difficult with a plastic card) and now I'm getting drunk.

The Beard is dead, long live The Beard.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Today's thursday. Surely such a manly man could have a regrowth by, say, Friday evening?

Exactly. You can't keep a good beard down. And remember The Beard is a state of mind, it is more than the sum of it's individual follicles and thus transcends the laws of time and space, it is a force of nature and it will not be denied.

We will be back. Just you wait.

And training isn't until Satuday morning. The People's Beard might only miss one training session, not too badder impact on His preseason overall. Maybe the Footy Dept thought He needed a quick freshen up, after being in action year round nonstop for a few seasons. No offseason could be the contributing factor.

I think Hudson had had enough of being stalked by us. He wants ownership of his face back. Having the peoples beard is onerous when its on your face and just keeps growing there unless you shave it.

I think he was jealous of the fans the beard had vs the amount of fans he had.

Id love to see a pic, im sure one will pop up soon just can't picture him without it now.

Not wanting to detract from the Marmo or James awards, but could we perhaps present a weekly "Most worthy to wear the Beard this week" award. The criteria could be debated. I would suggest something along the lines of:

"Not flashy, not even particularly attractive, but got the job done".

Yes! Finally the beard is gone and The Barlowians have their chance to claim their rightful position as most popular WOOF cult following.

Are the Barlowians fans of excellent cross country runners?
