He named the players he expected more from didn't he: Gilbs, Gia, Hahn, Lake, Hargrave.

100+ game players. He's obviously expecting these guys, along with Coons and Murph, to be the core of the side.

Obvious ones Hahn, Gilbee & Gia, a little suprised Lakes & Shaggy's names were mentioned, apart from the odd Brian brain fade, thought both were travelling pretty well.

All I got was that he asked Eade why Skipper wasn't playing at CHF and Rocket said he is too slow.

He chased and caught Xavier Clarke the other week.

But Clarke has done his ACL, he was hopping at the time.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I thought Clarke did it in the tackle, his knees buckled as he was carried away by Skip's blazing speed...but I could be wrong.

No, you have it right. There were practically scorch marks on the ground!
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
