                4 - Boyd (matched it and then some against the best midfield in the business)
                3 - Aker ('nuff said already)
                2 - Johnson (best game since his 300th - sensational workrate in both directions)
                1 - Eagleton (kudos to him for performing against a great team and while the heat was well and truly still in the contest)

                James:
                2 - Ward (would have learnt 20 games worth of experience pitting himself and acquitting himself so well against Geelong's midfield)
                1 - Harbrow (was sensational late in the game but 4 goals to Stokes was crucial in the final result)
