How good was young Harbrow today after the threat of being dropped (or did he know he wasn't going to get dropped anyway). Has a lot to learn, but really backs himself, picked up 21 disposals and went in hard all day.

    Ward

Terrific first half, 18 disposals 3 goals, went in hard as usual. Dropped off in the 2nd half but then again the whole team did.

    Josh Hill

Presents well, starting to show a bit in his defensive side with 5 tackles today. Still picked up his usual 15 disposals.

    Higgins

This kid is all class, picked up a lazy 22 disposals, laid 6 tackles and really wasn't as fit as he could be. We all know he is going to be a star.

    Picken

Although not too young at age 22, but young in games played, what a find this kid is, tough as nails.
How true is this since the Sydney game and add Reid as the newest addition.

Harbrow is a bloody star, his run from the backline to set up players further up the field is sensational. Ward is all guts and between him and Reid covered for Cross and had a tackle count of 17 between them. I thought it was one of Hills best games last night, he is growing in confidence and is still only 20 years old.

How much have we missed missy. To slot straight back after missing three games against a quality side was great to watch.

I have also noticed over the space of the season, how much better Josh is at keeping his feet.

Doesn't seem to go ground much, but his opponent does a lot.

Joshy Hill could very well be as important to us as Micky O was for Sydney.

Whoever it was [Rocket or one of the assistant coaches] that suggested Harbrow play in defence is a genius, he showed some good signs before this season, but has just burst out of the pack something wicked this season, even early on when he was getting cut up a bit by some forwards, he just looked like he belonged back there, more so for his rebound, him taking on players is just awesome, been a real pleasure to watch him play.

I know he won't make the team, but wouldn't be suprised at all if his name was brought up by some of the AA selectors as that smaller defender.

It was sort of luck that he ended up in the backline. The first game of the year, Tim Callan was set to play, but there was no match up as Freo went tall. Before the next game Tim got injured and we needed a small to play on Matt Campbell and Harbrow was thrown in. Mind you, he played in that role a couple of times at Willi, last year. The rest is history.

              Don't forget Wallis and Liberatore.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Dammit comrade there is no way you're beating me to this bandwagon! You'll have to start stalking maternity wards to outdo me next!

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but i'm assuming Lachlan the son of Mark (Hunter)????

We need to get as many viable F/S as possible in the next 10 years. With the GC17 and WS18 stealing all of the young talent its a must

Are there many others in the pipe apart from Libba and Wallis junior?

Is it true that Eagleton has had a couple of sons?

As in will Wallis and LIbba now become first rounders or will they slip to 4th rounders?

I actually said, "Go Eagle" last Friday night, I got looks of disbelief from the people around me. My mate (a Eagle fan) reckons I am finally on the Bald Eagle bandwagon.... as if.
