Johnno last Friday got the same standard delivery Richo got for most of his career (on or over his head, not great when his opponent is 2 inches taller than him).

As much as I like Richo, I'm hoping Grant can snare a few games next year after a big pre-season instead.

Richo is an old man who has injury problems. If we wanted him Chris Grant would still be playing

Simmonds has dropped off a lot this year and obviously won't be around next year.
I think Bowden has suffered alot from being in a team like Richmond who have very much under achieved, put him in a decent side, he could even be a very good Cornes style CHB without having to dish off countless meaningless stats, or even a hit up medium sized forward.

I remember talking to TCD after we played Richmond earlier in the year. I told him that Tambling should go to another club as the tiger supporters are 'gunning' for him as he was an early draft pick and had not lived up to expectations. In fact, I thought if he was delisted by the tigers, he would be a good pickup for another club, he just lacked belief in himself in part due to the tiger ferals!
He was not backing himself and was constantly turning the ball over early in the season.

Well, in the last month or so he has played alot better and I do not believe that he is as bad as people make out him to be. Against WCE, his run and carry was impressive, and I hope for his sake that he continues his form.

Bit a put down for Grant.
Chris Grant with a walking stick would be twice the player as Richo.

I was at the round 1 game and he totally set the tone dropping a sitter dead in front of Carlton's goal early on - and yes he's been really poor this year.

I'd still look at him for a forward post next year though.......I always hesitate to write who I'd look at, I thought Leigh Brown was worth looking at last year as well which no-one was really a fan of, and he's holding down a regualr spot at Collingwood and looking a lit trimmer. I reckon he'd be playing senior footy if on our list, maybe Simmonds could next year.

Richmond have made the correct call here as they need to fast track their kids and rid the team of the senior players who aren't part of their long term plans.

How many senior games have the 2 of them played this year?

You know the reasons why they are still on the list and I'm sure they will struggle to be on our list come the start of the 2010 season as our young KPP's & rucks continue to develop in the 2nd part of this season.

Just heard Rawlings on SEN (press conference earlier in the day) quite impressive actually. Re-iterated it's a caretaker role but didn't rule out getting the gig full time next year, saying those decisions will be made at the end of year and based on his performance in the next 12 weeks.

I'd give him a genuine chance

Well done Jade Rawlings - happy for him personally, couldn't give a toss about the Tiges. Still don't think he'll get the gig next year. Unless the Tiges win 8-10 games over the remainder of the year...

Watched the last 10 minutes or so and they should be well pleased with the result. I hope they get a few more wins because I don't want them to get the option of a priority pick if that was at all possible.

Ha ha and get them into the finals. Personally if he wins 4-5 games over the remainder of the year he has exceeded expectations. Definitley in the running for the gig IMO.

Reckon once the honeymoon period with the new boss is over, the "Tigers of old" will creep back to old habits. How ironic that song is now... and Jordan McMahon said one of his mates told him one benefit of leaving the Dogs was that he'd be going to a club with a good song - one the players never get to sing!

If you get a 'freebie' first up, I guess you could do worse than the Eagles who were 0-16 on the road in their last 16 trips coming into this game.
