    Flu

    On the news they just reported that Aker has the flu along with a few other players. He was apparently in the change rooms of some Rugby game where players are being tested for Swine Flu!

    Great.

    Melbourne certainly seems the worst hit. Perhaps a week of fishing up in Darwin after the weekends game is on the cards?
    Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

                I was more worried when he said "half the team". But maybe that is just Aker's humour.

                  Anyone who has a runny nose now has Swine Flu.

                      Better use a quote then.

                      Let me bring up one word. Dedication. I have never, been late. Also, I have never missed a day due to illness. Even when I had walking pneumonia.

                        That would be the biggest indicator on how much suibstance there is to the story

                          Dwight quotes are always worth repeating;

                          If I could menstruate, I wouldn’t have to deal with idiotic calendars anymore. I’d just be able to count down from my previous cycle. Plus, I’d be more in tune with the moon and the tides.

                          Rule 17: Don't turn your back on bears, men you have wronged or the dominant Turkey during mating season
                          They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                            Aker was at the airport today. He is fine. Just saw the footage on 10 news.

                              This thread does implicitly pose an interesting question:

                              When will AFL teams/games be affected like NRL games and players?
                              The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.
