Re: Easton Wood
I thought Wood was one of our few positives for the day.
He attacked the ball & demanded it when he didn't have it, which put him ahead of most of our 1-3 year players already (Everitt & Stack, looking at you).
The kick to a vacant square; that was the correct decision. He hit the post as well, very close to two goals from a debut off the HBF. He attacked a contest with Q.Lynch hard enough to force a boundary contest when he was out of position.
I didn't even mind the "almost" mix up when he marked the ball whilst bumping Shaggy at the same time. Spoiled a number of times, carries the ball which is something we have really lacked the past few weeks.
Can't be easy coming from a VFL side with a real forwardline into the AFL with the most dysfunctional F50 since University fielded a team.
