I was at the game, and his running off the ball was at the required level tonight, and his finishing was strong.
Bet you're glad you went now!

Well well well where the hell have you been for the last 6 weeks. I thought he was fantastic tonight i cant even remember him making a mistake all night. When he plays like that you start to remember how important he can be to the team. I just hope he keeps it going & the boys get some confidence from that. The catters next week who weren't convincing tonight.

Yep!... and to make things even better I've converted 2 French people who came with us to both AFL and the Dogs.
It was the first game they've seen and loved it. They want to go to the footy every week, and were disappointed when I said the Dogs don't play up here again this year.

On the downside... My marriage is over if ever Liam Picken were to contact my wife. After the game he came over to the fence and slapped her hand and then went and got a cap and brought it over to her... My wife said she's never washing that hand again........

Eagles turned back the clock last night, good on him. Maybe if we have a 'pretend' milestone for him every week he'll keep playng that well!

His two months of form still stands, but last night was some vintage class. Now for another 5 weeks of it Nathan.

He is clearly artillery, not infantry.
He's fantastic when he can use his weapons - gut running & long kicking.

I wouldn't have thought it was harsh at all TCD

The Eagle cops a bit so its only fair he gets a pat on th back when he does well, and only fair that all the baggers cop a pretty harmless dig

One week doesnt make a trend for Eagleton

He was VERY good last night though

His gut running, finding space, carry, those long range goals and his tackling stood out

I found it funny when I think Murpy marked about 65 meters our, Eagle ran past him, got the ball and had a shot from 60 out...it fell short, call it confidence or stupidity, but it was classic Eagle

Hey if we dont have a key forward, we can always rely on Eagle, Aker and Gilbee to bomb a few from beyond the arc...wishful thinking ;-)
