    Aker and the Brownlow

    RUMOUR FILE

Ryan (Fitzy) Fitzgerald just said on Nova that Aker's missus had spent four and a half hours getting ready for the Brownlow ... And quite a bit of money on hair, spray tan, nails, make-up, dress, jewellery etc etc, but had to cancel at the last minute ...

Appearantly, Aker went so hard at Mad Monday that he got lost and ended up asleep in a gutter somewhere ... by the time he was found, it was too late to go to the Brownlow

Aker's missus = 'Not Happy Jan'

    No. NO WAY!

Boy, this goes into the 'shit forever' file. When they are 60 and Aker's trying to stop his wife from selling his Brownlow to pay for the beach house in Maui, she'll bring this up.

Simon Atkins did exactly the same thing in 92.

He rocked up home just before time to go and he wife cracked it with him.

      Atkins took his mum instead.

I don't get why she couldn't organise a way to get to the Crown Casino without Aker.

Hahahaha! Oh my, that is HILARIOUS. I feel a bit sorry for his wife, but my god that is funny. Particularly the gutter part.

Was that the year that his Mrs (ex copper) threw out all his clothes on the road. Coincidently channel 10 news caught it all on camera.

She probably didn't want to go without him, no doubt everybody would've been asking her left, right and centre where he was. Poor Aker will most definitely be in the Dog House (literally) at the moment if it is true.

IMO you are not really married until you have upset the wife in this manner...my lovely wife expects and plans for such events at least monthly!! Well done Aker!! (if true)

I have my doubts about this as I don't believe our players would leave him in the gutter as for getting that drunk well it has been a long hard winter!!!

                            Ouch!

You would think he'd have enough sence to make sure he was in a good enough state to attend such a formal gathering, his team mates were there, he may just have to serve 100 hours of community service as punishment [in the Dog suit on Barkly St]...
