I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to win a premiership". I think it suprised the crowd, and everyone applauded.
Yet he is best mates with Daniel Cross..... go figure.

Why is that an issue? He didn't say "I have no friends at the club".
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Well done to Liam Picken for best first year player. Terrific season from him.

Has now gone under the knife for a full shoulder re-co - which will be a long slow recovery over 4 months. Played finals with the muscle torn off the bone. Fair determination from him.

Rocket also confirmed to the audience that Morris was playing with a leg fracture during the Prelim.

Yes, it was reported in the paper, very courageous effort to just be on the ground!

We've got quite a long casualty list this pre-season, with a number of guys going through a long rehabilitation lay off (Murph, Picken, Red etc).

Hopefully we can get as many right as possible in preparation for round 1, but I'd be expecting a slow build up next season.

Also, well done to Liam - he got a massive cheer on the night, and is highly rated by all.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
