Presuming Barry is a done deal, do we need a true CHF, someone around 196 cm, mobile, and that can take a contested mark, or is Barry enough and the rest of the forward line can be built around him?

Re: How many talls do we need in the forward line?
As shown last Friday we have no problems getting the ball inside 50 we just need to find a way to turn those 'inside 50's' into goals against the very good teams.
Hopefully Hall will be able to help to create a contest when we are forced to kick long, but I think we need to add some pace to our forwardline to help create more forward pressure such that our forward 50 isn't a trampoline for the opposing teams rebounders. -

Murphy would benefit greatly by having a true CHF to help him out.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Having said that, Hall is not a monty to be on the park and another tall forward would not go astray, keeping in mind we are already slow up there. I will be an interested follower in the trade period to see what we are doing in offloading Skipper and potentially Everitt, why would we load up on early picks and what will we do in the ruck? Are we chasing a Jarryd Roughead/Kurt Tippett mobile tall forward and backup ruck type?

I would like to think that with Hall as the main key forward we give guys like Grant/Roughead/Boumann a run in the pocket-flank where they won't get the main defender and can start being eased into the side.I should leave it alone but you're not rightComment

I'm not sure if thats a massive issue for Murph, he tends to lead pretty far out anyway on alot of occasions, it will be more important to get it right with the ball coming down from the backline, midfield etc, working out where he leads to, what spaces he generally takes up, probably also more important for players playing close to him, in the pockets, where to crumb etc.Comment
