    Mitch Thorp has been delisted by the Hawks with a year to go on his contract(must have really stuffed up or his attitude must really suck or maybe he's just a DH).
    The curse is dead.

        Surely they could have kept him for another year and then offered him up as a trade for Higgins?

        Don't really know much about Mitch, other than that most people on this site that I have seen comment on him, don't really rate him at all.

                Has he got any talent though? Hasn't done much in the VFL.

                Perhaps attitude and injuries forced the Hawks hand, but from the little I've seen and what I've read he hasn't fired a shot.

                                    They were happy to trade Boyle to us for Higgins.

                                                            Can I get people's thoughts on Matt Macguire?

                                                            Has now been delisted by St Kilda and would seem to be the right fit (position wise) for the the club.

                                                            I'd expect he would gather a fair bit of interest from other clubs. From what I've read his form was only average this year in the VFL.
