That's the significance for me, not the title or the silverware.
    Agree DR.

Just sick of seeing us lose 'semi finals' and finally having the fortitude to win through to the last game.

Was also glad it was close and that our players came through in the end.

Will be a good mental boost for the players I think.

At the end of the day, we win, there are a couple of very good benefits:

      * Great for the players confidence.
      * A financial windfall with some prize money
      * More members getting on board
      * A Great preseason start for the club.
      * Instill some fear into our other 15 opponents
      * A great all round winning feeling
      * Beating the Saints.

I think this is most important factor here and the two things we have
going for us is Barry and Willo!

Re: Do we need to get this NAB GF out of our system?

I have to say that I was pumped last night to finally get into a Grand Final, Yes even in the who care cup.

The issue I have is that I think we cant afford to lose for a couple of reasons,

        1. The boys have been training for 4 months now and if they are not ready to go now what will be the difference in round one,
        2. With Big Barry down forward, a lose would say we haven't improved on last September.
        3. Our guys would feel unbeatable for round one and give them a bigger motivation for the season proper.
        4. Membership and any future sponsorship deals would become healthier.
        5. The boys could have a huge end of year trip with the winnings.
        6. I think a loss will hurt ether side that does get over the line. The NAB cup is really practice match stuff, but when your in the last week like we are you would basically play your best side anyway.

Tommy will run back into form playing on Kosi who is out of sorts, Morris to flog Roo and I like shaggy on The Rat, At the other end Zack will get flogged by Big bag Barry and i would play Addison as a tagger on Gram.

        Outs - Mulligan, Roughy, Wood
In - Huddo, Gia & Jonno
        BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Sorry may have been posted already. Is there still the chance to win both NAB and Premiership Season Grand Finals for a million bucks? Good incentive to boost the coffers.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
