Did anyone else notice how tiny that bloke from NAB who presented the cup was?

The cup was bigger than him!
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

He's a deadset skunk. At most stoppages in the last 1/4 last night he just held Boyd back from the play either by standing directly in front of him with the palm of his hand on Boyd's chest or holding him by the back of the jumper. The umps just didnt seem to notice.

I thought the AFL were going to crack down on taggers this year, be interesting to see what happens when Ling wraps his arms around Cooney everytime.

I stood up out of my chair in the last quarter when Addison got absolutely pole axed between two Saints. I seriously thought he was decapitated.

The fact that he got up straight away proves the kid is as a hard as a cat's head.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Very funny AndrewP6 - love your work BTW, I'm having a little trouble today "keeping a lid on it!". Just want to keep doing the happy dance, and pretend it's September Seriously though, bring it on, I think last night, the boys proved to themselves (and to me for sure) that they can match it (hopefully with any team) this year!

I don't agree with you on Brodie, but there's nothing wrong with what you said. You were fair and analytical.

IMO I think Brodie is a good pick up for us and would think with a bit more AFL exposure he'll become a very handy player.

Dylan didn't put a foot wrong last night, and I hope that if/when opportunities present themself this year he can take advantage of it.

I don't think rocket can take credit for that, per se. DFA came on as a sub when Mitch got hurt. Rocket's only choice was whether to bring on Addison or Wood.

No, that's not right. DFA had already been subbed on for Eagleton

On Rocket, did he leave the coaches box with five to go in the last quarter ?
And who was the girl coaching in the box instead ?

In that case it was a brilliant move.
