    1970's & 1980's Scanlens Footy Cards

I have had a bit of a trawl thru Ebay & collected some pics of footy cards. Some of you may wish to use them as avatars.

Here's who I have, so PM me if you want any (I'm not going to put them all up, just a few):

Alan Stoneham, Adrian Gallagher, Andrew Purser, Bernie Quinlan, Bruce Reid, Colin Dell, Dennis Collins, Doug Hawkins, Gary Cowton, Gary Dempsey, Gary Merrington, Geoff Jennings, Glenn Coleman, Ian Dunstan, Ian Hampshire, Ian Low, Ian Morrison, Jim Edmond, John Reid, Kelvin Templeton, Laurie Sandilands, Les Bamblett, Michael Kelly, Michael McKenna, Michael McLean, Neil Bristow, Neil Cordy, Peter Featherby, Peter Foster, Peter Welsh, Ray Huppatz, Rick Kennedy, Robert Groenewegen, Ross Abbey, Simon Beasley, Stan Davidson, Stephen Power, Steve Wallis, Steven Knight, Ted Whitten Jnr, Terry Wheeler.

There were others I didn't bother with as the pic was taken during a match & there are other players obscuring.

Whats the best way to post an image? I have a few old cards that some might find interesting.

          Go here:

Unlimited space to host images, easy to use image uploader, albums, photo hosting, sharing, dynamic image resizing on web and mobile.

Click browse & find the file on your computer.

          Resize - 17 inch monitor.

          Check remove size button.

          Click host it.

Now, down the bottom, you'll see this: Direct link to image

To the left of that is gobbldy gook (like this: http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/3...uinlanzp6.jpg).

Right click to highlight it & copy.

Now, in the panel you type in there is a yellow box with a mountain & a sun. Click that.

          Right click & paste.

          Job done.

Anyone actually collect sets of Bulldog cards throughout the years? I'm after various sets from the 70's and 80's in M/NM/Exe condition if anybody is wanting to get rid off them/double etc.

What gave me the s**** is only having 12 or so players from each club

I have most Doggies cards from the 70's & onwards, would love to get older than those, but they become extremely expensive, i don't have the Scanlens ones to get rid of, but you can pick them up easily enough at places like "Cardzone" across from Vic Market & "Carnegie Collectables" etc, the Scanlens 70's & 80's Footscray sets usually sell for around $20 - $50 depending on year & condition.

You can check out my Blog in the Links section "Mycards" for details on players available for which year you're after etc...

I was going through all my old footy records which date back to the early 70s and found the 1965 annual report, considering i didnt come to Australia until 1969 that is amazing!
