I would see Grant as over rated. He may have pace but it is no use when he just trails through half hearted. Even his goal was fortunate as he was not going hard, but the ball come over the back to him. How the writer of the article could suggest he ran from half back could only show that he was not really watching.

Grant had a very disappointing finals series.

He started poorly with a few fumbles but got into the game after that. He faded (like the rest of the side) but I saw some good signs in the first half. His pressure/tackling etc. was very good.

The reason he wasn't going flat out in that piece of play is because he had ran from center wing. He was involved in the set-up of that very play and kept running forward. Despite being buggered, he had the composure to drill it - a very good goal.

How can you knock him for that?

Had a poor first two games but he was OK for a half against St. Kilda.

Addison looks like he may be back to his pre injury form.

For a bloke who hasn't played 50 games I thought Williams toiled away well on Roo and tried to stick to the task at hand. I was less pleased with our midfield pressure after half time that provided Roo with so many more opportunities.

Give him a chance he is young. Has shown good signs and will be better for the run.

This is all I could come up with. I didn't change if I thought they would be fairly even
Cooney, gilbee and Higgins are a bit stiff.

The only thing I saw him do at centre wing was give a half-hearted chase. He had no influence on the play. Seriously needs to find some intensity if he is going to make it.

Yes agree and i thought that Roo kicked his goals on Morris not Williams. and for that one that just bounced the right way for him in the 3rd .... Well sometimes it's just going your way

Next year you could also put in Roughy, Reid and Hooper!
