    That would be nice indeed.

Good luck Campbell and thanks for your service. I wonder how long the selection process for a replacement will take?

        Merged threads.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

As long as it takes. This is something that will not be rushed by the Club. There is an excellent executive team already in place at the WB who will shoulder the responsibility of the Club in the meantime. Hope to see many WB members at the AGM, when you will get the opportunity to acknowlege Campbell Rose.

Tremendous job in taking the club to a respectable state and out of the mire.
              Thankyou Campbell

Rose is set to leave the Bulldogs on December 17 to take up a major role in a property development company.
Hopefully not the same property development role Bomber Thompson was taking up!!
Should Essendon CEO Ian Robson be nervous??

Campbell's new role as CEO at Stralliance etc is a most senior position. They were responsible for the development of Eureka Towers. The company build 450 homes each year. Campbell will stay involved with the Club in some capacity. His son barracks for the Dogs and loves the Club. The search committee from the Board will leave no stone unturned in finding the right person for the job. It will not be a rushed process.

                      Good luck Cam

He's done a lot of good stuff for the club, but I dont think that a new CEO is a bad thing. All people in any organisation have their use by day. Im not saying Cam was at his but identifying a good candidate should now be the focus.

I hope that he does continue to support the club and find it hard to believe he wouldn't

Good to hear, thank-you for the update - and most of all, I (we) thank Campbell for his committed and astonishingly effective service to the club.

Campbell Rose is the finest administrator this club has ever had.

He will be sorely missed. I hope he will find his way onto the board in the future as he suggested he would like to do.

He has done exactly the opposite to Essendon.

He has come straight out and said he his leaving for the money.

How refreshing to hear someone open and honest.

I will always remember him going on the footy show to face the yobs. I thought he showed a bit of guts. Not saying the club was totally in the right in that situation ( with Jason ) but did well to go on knwoing quite well he was going to come out the loser.
