    Ayce's New Zealand Diary

    DAY 1

We arrived at Melbourne Airport at 5am on Saturday morning and despite the exhaustion, we were all looking forward to the experiences on offer.
The preseason can be challenging at the best of times but to have the opportunity to travel to Queenstown with my team mates was something I and many of the other lads had been eagerly anticipating.
The journey was pretty uneventful apart from Rocket temporarily misplacing his passport before being saved the mad dash by Big Bad Board Member Barry Hall, but on the whole it was a good trip.
Flying into Queenstown can be described in one word, picturesque. The snow capped mountains and lakes make for quite an amazing spectacle.
We spent the rest of the day settling in to the Heritage Hotel and headed to check out the main part of Queenstown. After that the team briefing began, followed by a great meal and then we went to bed…completely exhausted.

Liking that Jarrod Grant apparently is doing very well. Also that Ayce out ate Will Minson.
