Man that's disappointing. To come from 20 points down, get 7 points up and lose by 7 from there is just...disappointing.

Only the Bulldogs can dishearten, enthrall, then destroy their fan base in the space of 20 minutes.

In a lot of ways I'm gutted but that was one hell of a contest and we tried our heart out.

Some poor decision making and skill errors hurt us when it counted.

No doubting the endeavour when we looked down and out.
But unless we find away to improve by 15% this week, we're going to be in for some trouble against Collingwood.

I know it's still early days but I really can't see us being top 4 after dropping this one and the Essendon game. There the games that will decide being top four or not.

True enough but we were never in the Essendon game. We needed this one especially with the Pies next week.

Honestly i thought it was a pretty hard tough contest. Yes there were alot of errors and mistakes by both teams, but pressure wise it was a strong effort. Just had too many players that didnt play 4 qtrs. Cooney is very lacklustre sometimes and although he shouldve kicked that goal, to be 7 pts up with 4 mins remaining, we shouldve been able to hang on as we had all the momentum at that point.

Disappointing in the end though. Huge game next week

A kind of a weird positive is that we that we got close while alleged "gun" players like Hall and Cooney were crap.

Maybe also marks the start of great run from Sherman for us - thought he was terrific.

At least Higgo and Grant lifted in that last quarter. Four good goals to Sherman.

Stack did stufff up at the end but was good for most of the night. Murphy and Cooney failed to execute under pressure.

Minson will replace Roughead next week.
