Dahlhaus looking a little off today. Minson has been good, as has Cordy and Wallis. Sherman is getting involved. Jones another who seems to be stagnating a bit at the moment. Overall a big improvement in the 2nd but we're a long way off the better sides.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Much better in that quarter. We now in the 3rd quarter have to kick on from here and hopefully get a comfortable win.

Much better finish to that quarter , good solid pressure to lock the ball in , a Sheedy Flood choked up the space and we did,nt add another 3 or 4 goals

I wonder if he is carrying a injury as he looks short on for pace and there was a couple of times he would have laid tackles but didn't commit.

He isn't being helped by the fact our foot skills are extremely poor and that he is now drawing the no.1 defender, but it would be nice if he can get his hands on the ball a bit more.

Griff has been one of our best.

Yep, I had the same impression. Normally he'd be doing everything to lay those tackles, but has lacked that today.

No doubt, he's got just about the most unenviable role in the AFL at the moment, but his positioning and leading has been a concern. He's not really on a world-beating opponent today either, Davis is going to be a good player, but he's still a kid at the moment.

I,m sure Macca told him to some in closer to the contest to help clear the ball , he and Sherman have found some space , our wide play in the first quarter on the smaller ground was useless , if we dominate the corridor we win the game

He doesn't excatly get the ball delivered to him like a forward should. We keep expecting him to take a big contested mark.

22 points up at half time, we have to win by at least 10 goals to erase the humiliation of the goalless first qtr

Jones need a much better second half or he will be in the VFL next week. -4 dreamtime points to half time.

Where did I say he was? This is one of the more even match ups he'll get all season - I was expecting him to at least break even.
