    What's the Higgins role?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

This is on par with North's I'd say.

In fact, the only game he's offered anything in for the last 2 years was against Carlton in the middle of 2011.

Face facts: Cooney doesn't give us anything, and don't use the "he wouldn't be in the team" line. He's in the team because of what he used to be able to do.
Dont want to start Cooney bashing but he does seemed to have a privileged position in the side. Plays bad , never gets dropped , just rested. If I was a teammate busting my arse for a game i would be none too pleased. Time to make a statement and have Higgins, Gia, Murphy and Cooney playing at Willy if their form warrants. Builds trust in the selection system. Cooney not the worst today.

Our unwillingness/inability to chase today has been a disgrace. Our leaders have set the standard too.

Picken by far our best today. Kept Jetta out and snagged a few himself. Switched onto Bolton (who was killing us) at the half, and shut him out.

Other than that, I struggle to think of anything else remotely positive.

A poor game we need to put behind us.

Boyd coming up to 30 disposals but hasn't had much of an impact. The Swans midfield has dominated.

Cooney is never the worst, but it's because he actually doesn't do anything -- as bad as it sounds.

Higgins is absolutely deplorable in any kind of contest. He's not desperate enough or he loses his feet every time, and I think he's actually slower than Cross.

Vez and Austin have been just OK, I think. Picko our best by the Flemington straight.

I think Minson has been ok, Griff not at his best but very little support.

? Jetta has kicked 3 and Bolton well over 40 possession.
