I'm really happy about this signing. With all the Prismall talk I thought we'd lose him because unbeknown to me I thought the signing period was over. I think he's a good get for us, should slot straight into the team.

Potentially, though if nothing else he'll put a lot of guys who might be vying for a spot in the midfield under selection pressure which is what good teams have the benefit of.

If we do in fact sign Prismal, and he stays fit he'll do the same.

Except for losing Lake haven't we been good through the trade period, draft and now the pre-season draft?

Jason McCartney and his team deserve a slap on the back.

I thought we did well out of the Lake trade as well. Impressive off season so far doggies, very happy and slightly optimistic about 2013

Lower's signing excites me not so much for what he brings to the team, but for its potential to give us greater flexibility with Picken. I expect Picken will still be our number one tagger but this will allow us to play him in more attacking roles from time to time. He could be a very effective forward having stints in the middle.

Whilst being realistic and not expecting finals, we still way to go, but we certainly seem to have recruited players with the right attitude.

Bandy's fist season was great for us - I'd have him in front based on that alone.

I agree with this, gives us another option at least.

Picken has actually shown a little bit when the ball is his objective.
I'm keen to see him develop more as a player and not be pigeon holed into just a tagger.

Both, one game in first year, then we traded back in 99 i think.
