Hmm, our late picks in Schofield, Skinner and Hill were all reasonable punts as well, given they were taken at 74, 87 and 88.

Perhaps knowing we were committed to F/S picks in the first two rounds meant we didnt waste time focussing on the top end talent and spent the whole year concentrating on long shots. It paid off.

Maybe every year we should have one recruiter whose only focus is the tail end of the draft and the rookie draft.

Interesting view point - and I like it.

If we had the money that could be money well spent.
It again all comes down to resources.

Really enjoying watching JJ having a break out season and developing quite nicely, i really now prefer his game to that of Easton Wood if it was up to both fighting for that one spot in the side as the rebounding running defender, seems to have more poise than Easton who really is just a bull in the china shop most of the times with blinkers on. JJ can kick a nice goal on the run as well.

A few times i've seen Easton take a ping from 40 or 50 and just blaze away, hope for the best style.
