Great game by Koby. Hopefully it is his breakout game.

I keep forgetting he is only 21 and has only played 18 games.

Such a strong, imposing figure also. He and Clay Smith certainly have the apatite required for finals footy (fingers crossed their skills keep improving).
More of an In Bruges guy?

The coaches think he did well too.

Koby Steven’s inspiration performance against St Kilda on Saturday did not go unnoticed by the AFL Coaches Association, polling nine of a possible ten votes for the match.

The 21-year-old was arguably the best on ground in the hotly contested match, collecting 31 disposals, eight marks and three goals.

Western Bulldogs Captain Matthew Boyd also impressed in the round nine win, receiving eight votes for his drive and leadership around the ground.

Ryan Griffen (six votes) and Dylan Addison (four) were also recognised for their efforts, while Nick Riewoldt (three) was the only St Kilda player to register in the count.

      St Kilda v Western Bulldogs
      9 Koby Stevens (WB)
      8 Matthew Boyd (WB)
      6 Ryan Griffen (WB)
      4 Dylan Addison (WB)
      3 Nick Riewoldt (St K)
