I think BAD was using it as a segue to stop the north versus south Tas chitty chat.

Having said that, it is an interesting question. I think his acquisition adds for some competition down back that we may have had to draft for to create otherwise. JJ was looking likely to have a pretty clear run at a HBF or BP spot, and at least he'll now know he has to really fight for it, providing Darley has a good preseason.

Adam White was very complimentary of Darley - he tweeted last week about trade period being a place where the occasional gems are unearthed for a pittance and specifically made mention of Darley.
