I'll write up a nomination for either Caleb or JJ to the vacant bench spot - undecided on who deserves it more! History will say the Norm Smith medallist...but I'm leaning towards Caleb.

Dale is better than both of them.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Put up a detailed nomination as Jazza is doing and the discussion of the bench gets real interesting, as I don’t think any can yet force their way in yet (my opinion only).

        Currently the bench being:

        Int: (1) W. Minson - (2) R. Hargrave - (3) R. Griffen - 596 Games, 280 Goals
        Int: (4) J. Macrae - (5) L. Picken - (6) Vacant - 516 Games*, 140 Goals*

Recency bias is probably kicking in but Dale at his best is probably one of the best HB we?ve had in the past 20 odd years. I?d have him ahead of Shaggy.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Bubba Smith retired in 2006. Does he count?

Apologies. No. Just reacting to the comment. I have seen it now.

No need for apologies, just found it weird when he’s the starting HBF.

This makes me appreciate the players we’ve had through the club. A very handy bench, although in about 5 years I think Minno will probably make way for the ruck combo of Luke Darcy & Sam Darcy.
