Susan Alberti - Helping out the sisterhood!

Western Bulldogs vice-president Susan Alberti pledges $12,000 cheque to Melissa Breen

Random acts of kindness. Sometimes they're small, sometimes they're more substantial. And sometimes, as Australia's fastest woman Melissa Breen can now certify, they arrive in the form of a $12,000 cheque from a stranger...

Thanks for posting as I was just going through the online Age and saw that heading but didn't click it. If i knew it was Susan I would have.

I would love to do stuff like that if I had the money.

Susan Alberti has done more for women's sport in this country than any other non-athlete I can think of - she is the patron for female AFL and was the brains behidn the Demons-Bulldogs curtain raiser last year.

If Gordon ever steps down, I'd love to see her take over as our president.

How amazing is Susan Alberti. Such a small amount of money in the scheme of things, yet it will make an enormous difference to this young athlete - and as Mel Breen said, the gesture of faith means more than the money itself.
        Hats off to our Susie!

Susan used to post here quite a bit. Hopefully when the footy season proper (it's always footy season on WOOF) starts up again she will hop on and post again.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
